North Branford is positioned in an ideal location near the Long Island Sound in south central Connecticut.
Working farms still cover the rolling ridges and valleys of the community and fresh roadside vegetable stands add to the rural charm. Even with this idyllic rural setting, North Branford still offers easy access to major highways and supports an extensive industrial development plan.
North Branford is home to the largest trap rock quarries in the East. The town also boasts Lake Gaillard, the largest manmade source of water and multi-million dollar water treatment facility.
