The town of Stonington, Connecticut is located in New London County and borders the state of Rhode Island. A charming New England coastal town, Stonington includes the borough of Stonington, villages of Pawcatuck, Lords Point and Wequetequock and the eastern halves of Mystic and Old Mystic. The town was settled in 1649 and has a population of over 18,000.
