West Kingston, RI

The village of West Kingston is situated in the southern part of the state, just minutes from the Narragansett Bay.

West Kingston offers attractions such as the William C. O'Neill bike path. The seven mile path starts at the Amtrak station and continues until its end in the town of Wakefield. It passes by Great Swamp Management Area, Tri-Pond Park, and Saugatucket River, and the Narragansett town beach. The paved path allows roller blading, walking, jogging, and bicycling.

The West Kingston Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, the building is the Courthouse Center for the Arts. The center serves as an art gallery, a theater, an educational center, and hosts concerts. The beautiful stone building boasts arched doorways and windows, and an adjoining tower.

West Kingston is just a 35 minute commute to Providence and is accessed easily by nearby Route 1.West Kingston offers history, plenty of outdoor activities, and great schools.
