The West Warwick High School Jazz Ensemble “A” Band has won numerous awards, even placing in the finals at the Berkley College of Music High School Jazz Festival for several years in a row. In 2007, the coveted award was finally given to the band. The West Warwick High School Music Department is currently the largest in the state, with 550 students participating.
